BLAKES B-DAY

Today is Blakes b-day.  And it is also the day that we talk about our computers.  These are nifty little toys and will more than likely get us all into trouble at some point in time.  Happy b-day Blake, what are you now, 16, 17, somewhere around there. lol.  Well, these computing devices are really a big help in my mind.  Although I really only use it in 1 class(speech) I think that other teachers should get off there lazy untecknological butts and do something with the resources given to us.  The school did not buy this many $1000.00 items for nothing.  USE THEM.  Although a lot of good sites are blocked, they can still be very useful for almost everything as long as you are specefic enough.  I do like the fact that you can't stick crap to them or damage them under no consequence cause then every other bill we have will skyrocket to pay for them.  I also enjoy the minor freedom given to us by the school.  I have learned that certain sites are only blocked during school hours.  That or my computers broken.  I really am getting kinda' random here but they are also kinda' crappy.  If the school is going to buy them, get the best of the best.  I kinda' think that we don't need them quite yet but i also think that they are really helping.  There is a lot of wasted time in the class rooms when we could be working in these magnificent macines of computing skills.  I guess its just that people miss use them a lot(including me) and i don't like that.
